Fernanda Fierro (1986) is a Mexican artist with a BFA from the University of Sonora, specializing in acrylic and ink painting. She has received grants from FONCA (2020-2021) and FECAS (2010-2011, 2013-2014) and earned an honorable mention at the XIII Mexican Northeast Biennial of Visual Art. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums such as the Sonoran Museum of Art and the Popular Art Museum in Mexico City, as well as in the United States, Germany, and Thailand.
Her art blends vintage illustration, anime, and comics, creating bizarre yet sweet narratives with cute characters. She works across painting, illustration, custom toys, and murals.
Currently, she works independently as an illustrator, muralist, and art instructor.
